Creation sits on the Hemel‑en‑Aarde ridge above Walker Bay, in the cool‑climate corner of the Cape. They have spent years building multi‑course pairing menus, and they are genuinely one of the best in the world at it.
Elizabeth is tasting menu only. Which means every course has something in a glass next to it, and that pairing either makes the dish better or gets in its way. I have never had two uninterrupted weeks to work on only that.
So that is what this stop is. Not a pop‑up. Two weeks of sitting with their team, tasting, being wrong, and taking notes I will use in New York.
